REAL CHAMOMILE (Chamomilla Recutita / Matricaria)

The extract obtained from the flowers of Chamomilla recutita (Matricaria), better known as German chamomile, contains all the water-soluble active ingredients found in the flowers, such as essential oil (rich in alpha-bisabolol, flavones, chamazulene, and coumarins), flavonoids, polysaccharides, mucilage, and sesquiterpene lactones, which endow the plant and the preparation with numerous beneficial properties for treating the skin. In particular, chamomile is known for its soothing, emollient, decongestant, healing, and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a perfect cosmetic ingredient for water-based preparations such as gels, serums, makeup removers, creams, soothing masks, and more.

MAGIC HALF (Hamamelis virginiana)

Witch hazel extract is a preparation derived from the steam distillation of the leaves of Hamamelis virginiana, a plant native to North America traditionally used to treat circulatory disorders due to its astringent and vasoconstrictor properties. Renamed witch hazel by American colonists (a term still used by Americans and English people today), witch hazel concentrates most of its active ingredients in the bark, leaves, and parts of the shrub most commonly used in phytotherapy. The leaves of the witch hazel, in particular, contain high concentrations of tannins, flavonoids, gallic acid, and mucilage, which give the plant important astringent, soothing, and decongestant properties.

Calendula extract (Calendula Officinalis)

Calendula extract is a preparation obtained from the flowers of Calendula Officinalis, an ornamental plant known in phytotherapy for its soothing and emollient properties. The resulting raw product concentrates all of the flowers' water-soluble active ingredients in water, making it an excellent treatment for redness, burns, and irritations. Its benefits are primarily attributed to the phytocomplex contained in calendula flowers. This is a treasure trove of mucilage, polyphenols, carotenoids, flavonoids, lycopene, and essential oils, containing 45 active ingredients. These compounds, primarily carotenoids, give calendula balancing, moisturizing, emollient, and soothing properties for skin tissue.
