what's the difference from "regular" dog food?

Conventional, extruded dog food, as we all know it, is produced at a temperature of approximately 120°C to 140°C.
Dog food pellets produced using the cold-pressing process are only heated to approximately 40°C during production and heated to a maximum of 70°C by frictional heat during pressing!

This more environmentally friendly and gentler processing method for the raw materials used provides many advantages of cold-pressed food:

• Gentle heating leads to high bioavailability of the feed
• Heat-sensitive ingredients such as vitamins, fatty acids, plant and animal proteins, fats as well as enzymes, secondary nutrients and micronutrients remain largely preserved in their natural form

Cold-pressed food should be fed dry. For picky or sick dogs, cold-pressed food can be soaked in lukewarm water – it then quickly breaks down into a mushy consistency, which makes it easier for old or sick dogs to eat.
