FangGold High-Quality Salmon Oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega fatty acids, EPA, and DPA), which dogs and cats cannot produce themselves. Therefore, these vital fatty compounds must be supplied externally. They are essential and indispensable for a smoothly functioning metabolism.

The salmon oil consists of 100% pure Norwegian salmon oil, which is pressed at low temperatures from fresh salmon. The raw material remains in a closed cold chain, with less than 24 hours between capture/slaughter and pressing and bottling of the oil. This results in salmon oil of the highest food quality, whose ingredients offer extremely high value and effectiveness.

The natural, light (very slightly brownish) color of our FangGold High Quality Salmon Oil comes from the astaxanthin contained in the oil (at least 500 ppm). Pink or orange salmon oil, as offered by some competitors, may look more attractive, but it is always made from salmon that has been fed with colorings or has had colorings added subsequently.

Since products made from wild-caught salmon endanger their stocks, high-quality farmed salmon from marine breeding stations is a very good and ecologically sound alternative.

EPA & DHA
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are omega-3 fatty acids, i.e. long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids.

EPA & DHA are true miracle substances, with a wide range of effects:

DPA (docosapentaenoic acid)
DPA is a long-chain, unsaturated fatty acid. DPA has been shown to have potent anti-inflammatory effects, similar to EPA and DHA. It also helps with arthritis, joint pain, allergies, and autoimmune diseases, among other things.

DPA can be converted into EPA and DHA by the dog's body and is a precursor to these omega-3 fatty acids. This conversion ability allows dogs to maintain a healthy balance of essential fatty acids. Compared to EPA and DHA, DPA remains active in the body longer and is therefore available to the body for a longer period of time.

DPA promotes and improves the overall well-being of dogs and cats.

Feeding recommendation per animal per day:

FangGold Salmon Oil High Quality should be administered as part of the daily feeding. Simply mix it into wet food, dry food, or the BARF diet.
